About us

We are Danny and Iris, and in the summer of 2026 we will be moving to Riguepeu, in the beautiful Gers region of France.

There, we have purchased a historic former convent, which we will lovingly transform over the next two years into a luxury chambre d’hôtes. Our aim is to create a warm, elegant, and welcoming place where guests can truly relax and enjoy the charm of the French countryside.

Our B&B will be called L’École d’Isa, a name chosen as a tribute to Iris’s mother. Sadly, she passed away in 2025, and this project is a way to honor her memory and keep her spirit close to us in this new chapter of our lives.

In the coming years, Iris’s father, Don, will also join us in France, where he will enjoy his retirement under the French sun.

And of course, we won’t be alone, our two dogs, Menina and Pumba, will be moving with us and will be part of daily life at L’École d’Isa.
